Detective Conan Movie 16 The Eleventh Striker

Detective Conan: The Eleventh Striker (名探偵コナン 11人目のストライカー Meitantei Konan: Jūichi-ninme no Sutoraikā) is the 16th film installment of the manga and anime series Detective Conan and is slated for release on April 14, 2012.The plot follows Conan and his friends who must solve a riddle in order to disarm a bomb inside a soccer stadium.

Production

The film was officially revealed through the 52nd 2011 edition of Weekly Shōnen Sunday.The official website was opened on November 26, 2011.The film is a collaboration with the J. League Division 1 to commemorate its twentieth anniversary. As part of the collaboration, players from the J. League are set to voice original characters in the film.On February 22, the theme song is revealed to be "Haru Uta" (ハルウタ?, lit. "Spring Song") performed by Ikimono-gakari.The crowd noise is a recording from the 2012 Japanese Super Cup.

Trivia 

 

Several real life J. League soccer players will be providing voice work for animated versions of themselves in the film, including: Kazuyoshi Miura (Yokohama F.C.), Yasuhito Endo (Gamba Osaka), Yasuyuki Konno (Gamba Osaka), Kengo Nakamura (Kawasaki Frontale), and Seigo Narazaki (Nagoya Grampus).
